THE MAN roams through the mountains, rivers, and seas in search of THE ONE, whom he believes to be a messiah.

Byeongho has always wanted to be a musician, but the harsh realities of life have forced him to prepare for a civil servant job, which is far from his passion. However, his love of music persists in his mind. When he happens to meet a homeless person, Byeongho begins to rethink his future.

Seok-hoon, an unemployed man preparing to become a film director, is visited by his ex-girlfriend Su-jin. He asks for her feedback on the script he wrote. 　　The scenario is about the real-life love story of Seok-hoon and Su-jin. Seok-hoon does not want this story to go out into the world.

The late Kim Dong-il, a Jeju April 3 refugee in Japan, left behind over 2,000 crocheted items and pieces of clothing that preserved her memories, identity, and history. As the film traces the redistribution of her belongings, it illuminates the still-unhealed lives of various Zainichi Koreans who lived through the same era, sharing and connecting their intertwined memories.

On a cloudy summer day, Mizo and Modu encounter a large rock that supposedly grants wishes, during their Cub Scout activities. After that day, Modu disappears without a trace. Mizo searches for Modu every day, but to no avail. Then one day, after a long time has passed, Modu returns to Mizo, and says, "I want to be a rock."
